Piling Chester – The gable end of this row of terraced house was perishing and the foundations not good so it was decided by the builder to build a new external skin on a new foundation rather than knock it down and exposing the house to the elements.
Mini Piling for Extension in Chester
At the same time as a new gable wall, a small rear extension was also being put on the back of the house. These piles went around 8m deep here and the job is now ready to be inspected before concrete is poured. You can see the beam dog legs in, so that the new double skin walls are in line with the existing and new gable end.
