Working alongside structural engineers and building control, we install piled foundations to the specified design, ensuring the structure has the support it needs. We can either provide a structural engineer’s design or work to one you already have.

Mini Piling for Side Extension due to trees
Piling here was for a side extension in Whitefield. Part double storey and part single storey. Heave protection was needed as there are very large trees to the left of the picture. The piles went different depths with the deepest 12m and the shallowest 4m. This is ready for the building inspector.
Concreted Ring Beam - Bury
This has been concreted, vibrated and levelled. The vibration ensures the piles are full and releases trapped air in the concrete. We level it to give a nice surface for your bricklayer. Here, the client paid for extra concrete so that the concrete finished higher than normal so it worked out easier for the bricklayer.

Piling Bury – This job was for an extension behind a property on Bolton Road. It was piled using the Grundomat mole and here you can see it after it has been concreted. You can see 2 steps here, behind the timber shuttering. The steps were created so that the whole job didn’t have to be dug down to the lower level.
Piled foundation in Bury
Here 2 metre lengths of additional pile are being welded together and the mole is set off again. This process continues until the friction around the length of the pile, or the pile hits tough ground, and the set specified by the manufacturer of the mole is acheived.
