Piling Blackburn – This job was for a large house being built in Darwen on the site of an old factory. The ground was all back fill and large pieces of stone from the old factory had already been removed by the client. This house had 49 of the 150mm piles and we used this small piling rig to install them.

Here, all the piles and cages on top of the piles have been installed as well as shuttering. Depending on the dig, sometimes shuttering isn’t needed. Its a weigh up of what is cheaper between the extra concrete needed
